What Will It Power?
Our “Defender” Energy Package is a powerful off-grid energy package that we have assembled and developed to be used in your home or business where you already have electricity coming in from your power company. This package will also work at an off-grid site such as a cabin or other place where no public utility service is available. It will power almost any 120 Volt single phase device or appliance, just not as long as our “Premium” and “Protector” packages. Its AC output is not tied to the power lines coming from the power company (power grid) and is not designed and should never be used to feed AC power back into the grid. Being an “Off-Grid” package has many advantages. It has a large battery bank to store the free energy being produced from the nine high quality polycrystalline solar panels. You can use this stored energy to run your home or business anytime you want to, during a power outage, or just to reduce the amount of electricity you use from the grid. The high-quality power inverter included with this package will provide a continuous 2,000 watts per hour of energy which can power many devices at the same time as long as the battery bank has usable energy remaining.

What it will not run:
Solar energy systems can be built large enough to power high energy devices such as electric stoves, electric hot water heaters, deep well pumps, electric clothes dryers, and electric heating and cooling systems; however, it is not the most efficient use of solar energy, and it can be very expensive. We feel that going totally off the grid (disconnecting your home from the power lines) is not practical or cost effective as long as these high energy use appliances continue to be used in our homes and businesses. Our “Just Enough” solar energy packages are designed to efficiently power the devices you need when the power goes off and help you reduce your power bill whenever you want to.
Most modern electronic and computer-controlled devices, appliances and rechargeable lithium batteries are perfect for our solar energy packages. Use free solar energy to power the things it powers best. When you need to power high energy devices and appliances, there are more efficient products and less expensive methods for running them, and we are working to source and supply the best of these products and methods, too, as they come to market. Our Home and Business Energy Packages are not designed to run 240V or three phase devices. Devices with large AC motors require a large initial surge of energy to get the motor running, then level out to a smaller continuous watt need. Our “Defender” Energy Package can handle this surge up to 4,000 watts and deliver 2,000 watts of continuous power every hour until the battery bank is depleted.
Battery bank charging or maintaining will automatically take place with the built-in grid powered system charger at night or when the sun is not shining if grid power is available. When solar input is available, the system will automatically use solar input to keep the battery bank charged. This automatic process can reduce your power bill every month. Check with the device’s owner’s manual or manufacturer to learn what the power requirements are of the devices you wish to power.
